From Religious performance to a channel of leadership.

These are some verses that are good for Leaders.

Good Leadership is a channel of water controlled by God; he directs it to what every ends he chooses. Proverbs 21:1
This totally is a verse for worship leaders. if you ever think that it's about you. Be very sensitive to Gods voice when it comes to leadership.

Religious performance by the wicked stinks it's even worse when they use it to get ahead. Proverbs 21:27

If you stop your ears to the cries of the poor, our cries will go unheard and unanswered.
Proverbs 21:13

We justify our actions by appearances; God examines our motives
Proverbs 21:2

Steve Fee & Friends O HAPPY DAY!

Last night was a night I needed to happen. Casey (my wife) and I went to see Steve Fee at Anderson University. It was in a theater that only sat around 250 seats. So it was really intimate setting. I have never seen Steve Fee live before but I have done a lot of his songs in a worship setting or on the road so I was real excited to see him. I have to say that I was blown away. A lot of people may not agree because they are not into the style of worship he dose but for me it was something that I've been needing. When your out on the road you are giving yourself away to the broken and the people who just need to talk. so when you get the chance to experience what they experience you become very humbled and fulfilled. Steve Fee is more than a worship leader to me he was a pastor. When I left I felt like I left a church service. After words Evan Silver, Bryan Holder, and I were looking at all the equipment and Steve's band was extremely nice and wanted to know more about us. Steve Fee came up and we began to talk to him about worship the road and label talk. It was good to hear that he is in the same position that I am in with his career. Time is everything. Patients is were Successes begins. If you ever get the chance to see Steve Fee live in concert please go see him you want regret it. I was dead before Christ but now that we have relationship with him I now am alive, O HAPPY DAY!

RadioJDRFStonebridgechurch&brookwoodchurch week!

So here I am on a Monday morning just doing a little work from bed and I start thinking about what I did this past week. I realize that I have an excuse to be tired. Last week I joined up with my radio promoter (Chris Hauser) and two other artist Jeremy Horn and Nate Huss. We hit the road in Nashville TN and went to over 10 states and 18 stations all in 5 days. our schedule look like this: 5:15am wake up call on radio at 7:45-8:00am leave around 9:00 get in the van drive 2 to 3 hrs. to another state eat lunch with a radio station and then get in the van and drive to another state which was about 3 to 4 hrs away to either eat dinner or we were on air by 4 or 5 eat dinner and drive to the next sate to sleep for 5 or 6 hrs to get up and do the very same routine again. But I have to say we made great connection and got picked up on some stations (song nothing Like You) and got to eat lunch on Lake Michigan. (to tired to remember it but I do a little). I got home about 2am Saturday woke up at 6:15am a went to the JDRF walk to cure diabetes. My wife works there so I went to help her and get things going. I left around 10am or so and came home took a 15 min nap and left to go rehearse with Chasen band. At around 5:30 the Stone Bridge Church crew came and we set everything up for the next morning for our first day at Stone Bridge Church. (which was awesome) I woke up at 6:15am and went and led worship at stone bridge then went to Brookwood church in Simpsonville SC and did a show which was incredible whole other blog though. Got home around 10:30pm or 11pm, a real early night actually and crashed to find my self in bed this morning writing this blog. sorry for such a long and detailed blog just needed to write it out. Well I'm going to go and chill out for a little bit. I found out as they say in Oklahoma, good buy.

A Night In Death Vally

How about those Tigers (Clemson). All though they played like crap in the 1st half I was proud for what they did in the 2nd half. I did think that it was a little "bush league" for the coach for VT to Score with 30sec left on the clock. As for VT good team, just not our time I guess.
