Don’t Be A Butt Flicker

So as we (chasen band) we're traveling through Memphis our road manager Will Carter ask if I am a tree hugger. Well the answer is yes to a degree, my family's from Oregon. So I read this statistic and it drove me crazy so this where the tree hugger comes out.

Don’t be a butt flicker. The average smoker smokes 10,000 cigarettes a year, making it the most commonly littered item. More than 100 billion cigarette butts–weighing 100 million pounds–ends up as litter each year. And ... are you ready for this? “Annual cigarette butt litter, end on end, measures more than 2 million miles. That’s 337 roundtrips from Los Angeles to New York.”
The solution for this is quite simple:
• If you smoke, be mindful to dispose of the butt properly. Remind friends to do so as well. When more than 25,000 fires are caused by cigarettes annually, it makes sense that we be a little more responsible in disposing of them.
