RUN!!!! Go watch cartoons

So I'm stuck watching this Americas Next Top Model show. If you don't know anything about this show it's Tyra Banks batting her eyes and asking for advice from her mom to give to the gals on her show. They say the same thing during the deliberation at the end of the show each week. I think it's fine this whole advice from mom thing but that's it. They're on like there 6th season and they do marathons every freaking Saturday on MTV, MTV2, or VH1. I could deal with it for the first Hour but for 6 hours? My wife is so obsessed with this show. She knows every one of the girls' names where they live and how many kids they have. I say ok they have twelve weeks to find Americas Next Top Model. One week is a 1-hour so that's 12 hours total. Well we've been watching this thing for 6 hours, no lye. I say enough is enough. So I do what every man would do gab the remote control and turn it to cartoons, well I don't think every man would do that but I just got this new network called Boomerang and it shows every old cartoon there is (Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, ETC....) You can only guess what happens when she is so attached to this show. She freaks out and needless to say I watch the rest of Americas Next Top Model, Go Eva!!!! CRAP I've falling into knowing their names. Oh well, men let that be a lesson to you. If your significant other starts watching something that is not only a chick flick kind of show but it's a chick flick show marathon, RUN!!!! Go watch cartoons.

Info One - Info Two

Hello Friends, I have to say life is grand. Waiting for the world to turn to Sunday. Life seems to be this way over and over. Sitting waiting for the next day because maybe that day I wont regret something's I say and did. People I hurt and People I lift up, why can't I stay consistent. All the things I said about situations in my life could have been resolved if I would have just shut up and let them dissolved. That was emo!!! It's ok to be emo sometimes if you do it right. Ok, there's no room for emo talk your right. But life is grand though I just thought I would let you know what I was thinking at the moment. Great things I see in the feature for myself. (Jeremiah 29:11) I just keep on being reminded that. I just need to be sensitive about me getting in the way. Info one: I'm Reading the book of Samuel and loving it. It tells stories of how God teaches obedience is better than sacrifice. That really hits hard in my life. Info two: I start recording on CHASENs first national record in 8 days. Now granted we have been in there for going on 5 weeks with Preproduction and we still have 5 days left before we start tracking. It's a long process (2 months) but I don't mind Cause I know Gods going to do great things though these lyrics and the impact that this CD will make on a lot of lives. I will start a Studio Blog entitled STUDIO 6 on Tuesday May 8th letting you know all the things that is going on with myself and the other guys as we make our way through this moment in our lives. Well as I always say,

I hear ya.

Religious Ceremonies or rituals are empty unless they are performed with an attitude of love and obedience. Being religious, going to church, serving on a committee, and giving to a charity is not enough if we do not act out of devotion and obedience to God. A sacrifice was a ritual transaction between man and God that physically demonstrated a relationship between them. If the person’s heart was not truly repentant or if he did not truly love God, the sacrifice was a hollow ritual.
Where is God truly leading us? Have we been so blinded by the good deeds that we are expected to do that we never see what God is trying to show us.
“22Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice. And to heed is better than the fat of rams. 23 for rebellion is like the sin of devotion and arrogance like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He has rejected you as King.” 1 Samuel 15:22-23
Listening is easy to do when we are interested in the conversation. It’s not as easy if it’s really not what we wanting to HEAR. “It’s better to obey than to sacrifice.” Example: God I hear you but that’s not what I want to do so I tell you what, I’ll take my kids to church and I will give some money to a charity and that should be enough right? I pray that I am always listening to what God is truly saying not just to the things I want to hear.
