Step It Up!

People are dying and wasting away life. People are missing out on what it means to be alive. Nations are being corrupted with false beliefs. People are contradicting there self’s day in and day out. When are we going to step up? We have solders that have stepped up and said I'll go because it is for what we believe in. Why can't we not step up and help one another, if a man’s down help him up. No one volunteers any more. No one ever donates money to anything. If they do it's like pulling teeth. When did it become ok to liquor up their minds for just a little of peoples money and time. Lets bring in a bunch of people, give them free alcohol, a really touching speech and see how much money we can get. We need to step it up, who'll be the first? Where are you? Let's step it up.

New Countdown: It's XPLOSIVE!!!!!

Speechless

Wanting the best lyrics, best songs and the best response can put a strain on your brain.
3-18-07 (continuation of top)
But waiting for the right time right place right moments is well worth it.
Since that time 3 to 4 songs have been arranged and written. Lyrics
and songs are a way for me to change, surrender, renew, regroup, remind,
settle down, call out, let lose, tell my true feelings, and get away. Tonight
I was reminded that there's hope for me. I was reminded that You are the
reason for change. You make us all believe. You feel in the blanks.
When I don't have the words You draw a understanding between what is
real and what is useless knowledge.
I can't find the words to say but I know Your still here.

Going Down In History

Going down in history is a huge step. If I were to go down in history that means I’m up there with George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Brittany Spares. So I got to thinking, how would I go out? No not like die but what would people say about my life and how I lived it. The more I ask my self that question I got a little low. Have I reached that pinnacle yet of going down in history to it's fullest, have I "burned out bright"? I want people to see the things that I do as an example not just as a routine. This blog for example you probably heard this before. Maybe not these exact words but you have heard what will people remember me as, have I lived my life to the fullest. I don’t want to become a rut believer. I really want to burn out bright. I want to know that I have accomplished enough with my daily walk with Christ. Don't hear what I'm not saying. You don’t have a point scale with God but I want accomplish enough to where I helped someone get closer to Christ or even become a believer. I want to go down in history as having a relationship with Christ and not just being apart of a religion.

Imac The Way Of The World.

Each week my wife and I try to get together with some friends of ours. My friend Sammy Clary just bought a 24" Imac computer. I love a mac computer that’s all I use. It has a program on there that should be called click here to laugh hysterically for Hours. Here is what you can do with this program.

I hope you enjoy making fun of all of us but it was well worth it. I laughed for hours no lie I was still laughing when I put these pictures up here. Well,

"The River"

Check out these lyrics from Good Charlottes New song "The River". I have to say they've made a change. I don't know how they are in their everyday walk but it seems to me as if they have changed there ways of thinking.
THE RIVER = (Good Charlotte Feat. M Shadows & Synyster Gates from Avenged Sevenfold)
As I walk through the valley of the shadow of LA The footsteps that were next to me have gone their separate ways
I've seen enough now to know that beautiful things don't always stay that way I've done enough now
to know this beautiful place isn't everything they say I heard that evil comes disguised Like a city of angels I'm walking towards the light Baptized in the river I've seen a vision of my life And I wanna be delivered In the city was a sinner
I've done a lot of things wrong But I swear I'm a believer Like the prodigal son I was out on my own Now I'm trying to find my way back home Baptized in the river I'm delivered I'm delivered You're from a small town you're gonna grow up fast
underneath these lights Down in Hollywood on the boulevard the dead come back to life To the praying Mother And the worried Father Let your children go If they come back they'll come home stronger
and if they don't you'll know They say that evil comes disguised Like a city of angels I'm walking towards the light
Baptized in the river I've seen a vision of my life And I wanna be delivered In the city was a sinner I've done a lot of things wrong But I swear I'm a believer Like the prodigal son I was out on my own Now I'm trying to find my way back home
Baptized in the river I'm delivered I'm delivered Baptized in the river (on my own) Baptized in the river (on my own)
I wanna be delivered (on my own) (on my own) Baptized in the river (on my own) I wanna be delivered Baptized in the river (on my own) I wanna be delivered Baptized in the river (on my own) I wanna be delivered I confess I'm a sinner
I've seen a vision of my life And I wanna be delivered

My Words For The Day

The Chasen Band was in The BIG CITY of Greenwood SC. I have to say tonight was a really incredible night. We had about 300 students jumping and shouting as loud as they can. It feels so good to know that you are loved in cities beside you’re own. We had a lot of fans there tonight so I applaud all you guys who came out and witnessed this night. Being on the “ROAD” is a great place to learn about Faith, Trust, and Love. Coming off the road for a little while to create this new record will teach us all patience but it's well worth it. I hope to see you out of staters at some of the shows coming up. For the ones who have never experienced a Chasen show we love to have a lot of FUN and we want you to come be apart. Well,

GET AMP'd

Each Wednesday night I have the honor of being apart of a ministry called AMP'd. We started AMP'd about a year and a half ago. It started off with 50 students and now we have grown to 200 students each week. For the past 8 to 9 years I've trained students and worked with leaders to form a student lead ministry with the help of Bryan Holder. 8 years ago it started with various members of the Chasen band leading each week. I noticed that it was great for me but that was not what I was there for. After attending Saddle Backs conference I realize Students want to see their friends up on stage. They want to be apart of the ministry, they want to call it there own. Last night was incredible. We are in the second week of our series "Best Sex Ever". Last night the Song list was:
TELL THE WORLD (Hillsong United)
OUR LOVE IS LOUD (David Crowder Band)
DIRTY LITTLE SECRET (All American Rejects)
YES YOU HAVE (Leeland)
Bryan Holder who is the youth pastor of Marathon Church in Greenville SC said it perfectly. Our students seemed to be shocked at what we do. It’s not ever church service you hear songs like, Dirty Little Secret, 1st Date, Amateur Lovers, Every Little Thing. God is using us in an awesome way on the road and at our home church. You can find out more about AMP'd (MSM) at www.marathonchurch.org
Last but not least I have to say AMP'd would not be where it is today with out help and cooperation of our student staff. Thank you so much for all you do week in and week out. You do make a difference.
