"Highway Eyes"

New songs are on the way. As I ride and look at the world through my "Highway Eyes" I notice how beautiful but how dark the world truly is. So needless to say I have found a new way of writing. Here's a little taste:

Drinking To Breathe (The Flood)
By: Chasen Callahan

So Many years to make this city few short years will tell it all
How it fell and how it marks the place where all the sinners march
O yes the few short years will tell it all.

Cause
The Flood swept through these empty sex filled streets
And the night grew long as the water rose
Now as I walked these streets my heart nearly skips a beat
Cause their in over there heads but they’re still drinking to breath

After all the devastation the land was filled with looting and poverty
Their skewed minds lead to tents outside where they choose to live, live there lives against mans rules

Cause
The Flood swept through these empty sex filled streets
And the night grew long as the water rose
Now as I walked these streets my heart nearly skips a beat
Cause their in over there heads but they’re still drinking to breath

What do you say to a broke down heart that once was alive but now is torn apart.
What do you say to a beat down soul that once was young but now is old?
the flood that forever haunts there dreams & makes our God the one they hate/ o what do you say.

Cause
The Flood swept through these empty sex filled streets
And the night grew long as the water rose
Now as I walked these streets my heart nearly skips a beat
Cause their in over there heads but they’re still drinking to breath

Sweep in sweep in water sweep in and wash the streets clean
Make these bitter souls pure again
